Their time what was taken away from them. During Soviet time in 1941 and 1949 thousands of Latvian inhabitants were violently deported to Siberia – harsh environment where main struggling was to survive. Many lives and dreams were broken. Part of survived later returned back to Latvia, but lot of them spend their entire lives as exiles never seeing their motherland again.
